How To Set Up ProctorBot
ProctorBot runs on a separate computer. Use a capture card to combine the computer screens onto one monitor. Email us for any assistance at info@proctorbot.com

Tutorial

ProctorBot PC
- Connect your PC's HDMI cable to your monitor.
- Download ProctorBot.
- Download and install OBS.
- Install capture card drivers.
- Connect the capture card via USB.
- Sign into ProctorBot.exe so it's ready.

Testing Device
- Connect your PC's HDMI cable to the capture card.
- For MAC laptops: show "Entire Screen" and then shut the laptop.
- For Windows laptops: go to Display Settings and for Multiple Displays select Duplicate and shut the laptop.
- Connect your mouse, keyboard, microphone, webcam, and speakers/headphones.
- View your screen by setting up OBS on your other PC.
- *You do not need to install anything on this testing computer*

OBS Setup
- On the ProctorBot PC, in OBS under Scenes at the bottom, press the + button then OK.
- Under Sources at the bottom, press the + button.
- Click "Video Capture Device" the OK.
- For Device, select the name of your capture card and press OK.
- If your device doesn't show up, go to your systems Privacy Settings then Camera and "Allow apps to access your camera".
- Click your screen so that it is highlighted in red around the border.
- Recommended: Right click and press "Fullscreen Projector *Source*", then click your monitor's name.
- Now get familiar with the keyboard+mouse that controls your testing device, and the extra mouse that you will use for ProctorBot.
